PayPal Creeping Back Into Online Bingo Market

Friday June 9th, 2010

Two years ago, popular e-wallet PayPal withdrew from the online gambling market. From that point on, online bingo websites, online casinos and online sportsbooks, were not allowed to make transactions using PayPal. It was only this year, that PayPal decided to enter the online gambling market again, allowing only a few online casinos to offer the payment option to its players.

Now, PayPal is extending its reach to the online bingo community, allowing a handful of online bingo operators to conduct transactions with their online banking service. Just recently, PayPal has opened itself up to Virgin Bingo and Chit Chat Bingo, allowing our customers to take advantage of the most reliable banking solution in the online bingo world.

PayPal is one of the most trusted names in online banking. With so many security issues arising in the online gambling community, it is important that a trustworthy source is available. There are currently over 100 million PayPal accounts, a testament to the services reliability as PayPal uses some of the most sophisticated security systems to help prevent fraud.

While there are only a few online bingo sites using PayPal right now, it is very likely that we will begin to see PayPal at many more online gambling locations. Although its integration back into the market will be slow, it is much-needed.
