New iPhone Browser Disappoints Online Bingo Fans

For years, developers in the online gambling industry have been trying to find ways to make their products available to Mac users. Because Apple products do not allow downloads from online casino websites, operators have had to get sneaky about the situation by creating software that is non-downloadable. You would have thought that the same strategy would apply in the mobile gambling world, but Mac software developers have out-performed gambling operators yet again.

When the iPhone was released, online casino developers believed that they could circumvent Apple’s ban on online gambling activities. They planned on doing this by simply offering browser-based games, assuming that they would be playable from the iPhone’s brower. However, the plan fell through, as the iPhone still managed to block gambling applications.

The new release of the iPhone’s new SkyFire browser, however, was believed to offer users a way around Flash allowing players to access non-downloadable casino games. Unfortunately, it was recently discovered that the accessibility was only applicable to video, meaning that websites like YouTube would benefit most from the new browser.

Alas, online bingo and online gambling fans will have to wait for yet another solution for accessing their favourite games from iPhones.
