Given the recent problems that the currency is experiencing, the UK and other European countries are now offering players the chance to place wagers on whether they think the Euro will survive the recent crisis that it is going through.
Officials from 27 European countries, the European Commission and the European Central Bank are meeting to try and head off any problems there, but the outlook is a little dicey considering the economic climate. It’s worth noting that those interested in online gambling in the UK and other forms of wagering will bet on anything including their own economic demise.
In other related news it seems that another European country is looking towards legalizing the best online games in the new year, and depending on how things go in Germany with the 16 Länder ministers who will be discussing the issue there, it's possible that online gambling players in the UK could have even more choices soon.
Many online sportsbook names have been mentioned as potential companies that will be able to set up should Germany go ahead with their plans. Either way the proposal is set for 2011.
