In recent history, dozens of bingo halls across the UK have been closed for a wide range of reasons. While some were closed due to poor profits, others were simply acquired by other companies. In an unexpected turn of events, however, a Buckingham Bingo hall is being bought out – but will remain a bingo hall!
This is certainly good news for players in Preston. In many cases, when a bingo hall closes, players are left without a land-based venue in which to take part in their favourite leisure activity. While online bingo presents a great alternative to playing live, some players truly miss the atmosphere of land-based bingo games.
The new owners of the hall, Club 3000, plan on renovating the venue, in order to attract a newer audience of players. The new owners also plan on offering players more bonuses and promotions than they received from Buckingham Bingo. The company hopes to replicate the same success that Club 3000 has had in other parts of the United Kingdom.
The new club will be open to the public on Friday, May 6th, at which time players in Preston can resume their land-based bingo activities!
