The royal wedding will take place on Friday, the 29th of April 2011 in Westminster Abbey, where William's late mother Princess Diana and Prince Charles were previously been married. The hype surrounding the wedding is huge and every day new details are announced.
The media coverage is comprehensive and has exceeded other royal weddings. So, it is little wonder that social networks like Facebook have gotten involved. Facebook user Philip Wardle has created a public event, "Prince William's Stag Night" and has invited the public to Prince William's bachelor party.
The event is for the full weekend before the weekend before the wedding. The venue is, of course, Buckingham Palace. The Queen, however, would probably not be amused when the state 60 974 Facebook users showing up to her front lawn to party.
