June 2011 London VIP Event

Josie and a new gang of ChitChat Bingo VIPs took a VIP trip to the big smoke that is London!

Everyone met at the beautiful Covent Garden Patisserie Valerie for lunch and an amazing selection of cakes. Then after a short stroll, to work off the cakes! everyone reached the famous West End Palace Theatre ready to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The whole gang agreed what a phenomenal show it was, everything and more expected of a West End musical. After the show was the obligatory drinks and chatting! A thoroughly enjoyable day had by all.

P.s. we also had an absolutely glorious day weather wise!!

June 2011 Manchester VIP Event

... then it was time to fly (okay train!) up to Manchester to meet another group of VIPs to enjoy fabulous 'Afternoon Tea' and champagne on the 23rd floor known as Cloud23 of the Hilton Hotel. The views of Manchester from the Hilton were spectacular but the most spectacular view of all was standing on an oval of transparent glass so you could see all the way down to the payment. It made your knees go funny!!

After tons and tons of cake (and a glass or two of champagne!) it was off to see Mamma Mia, which was another brilliant show. Again more drinks after the show and it was agreed by all it was a fantastic day out.

P.s. we also had another absolutely glorious day weather wise!!

"Well, what can I say! Cakes, champagne, more cakes, spectacular views, cream cakes, a fantastic show, some chocolate cakes, excellent company - did I mention the cakes? I couldn't believe my luck when Josie called - it was such a lovely experience and so nice to spend a day with friendly people. December 2010 London VIP Event

Josie and the gang (group of ChitChat Bingo VIPs) took a VIP trip to London! Here is what they got up to:

On arrival there was coffee, cake and a bit of 'chit chat'!
Then up to change into something a little more glam then down to the grand hotel restaurant for a delicious dinner and wine.
Next it was off to the Rewind 80’s concert at the iconic Wembley stadium (Kool and The Gang, Sister Sledge, ABC, Howard Jones, Go West, T'Pau and The Christians!)
After show drinks, of course!
Time for bed (lets not forget the VIP surprise treat in the room... no not what you're thinking! but a delicious bottle of wine and chocolates - to have at the hotel or take home)
Up for a gorgeous breakfast and everyone left feeling very happy indeed.

December 2010 Manchester VIP Event

...after the event in London Josie and her work pal had to whizz up to Manchester in preparation for another VIP night!

Itinerary:
Coffee (a bit more tea this time), cake and a bit of 'chit chat'!
Change into something a little more glam then down to the beautiful hotel restaurant for a delicious dinner (not to forget the wine!)
Taxi to the Rewind 80’s concert at the famous MEN arena (Kool and The Gang, Sister Sledge, ABC, Howard Jones, Go West, T'Pau and The Christians! Yes they were on tour!)
After show G & Ts
Off to bed (of course with an extra VIP treat)
Full breakfast and goodbyes (off to the shops!!)

Just like the London event, a great time was had by all at the Manchester VIP event.

June 2009 London VIP Event

The VIPs all arrived in central London mid afternoon ready to be treated to an evening of food, entertainment and great company. 

First of all it was a coffee and cake (aka Gin and Tonic and crisps!) for everyone to say hello and have a chat. (It really is surprising and so nice at how well everyone gets on with each other). After a leisurely hour or so it was up to the hotel rooms to get ready and then out for a fantastic meal (Italian - can't go wrong!). The restaurant was naturally busy being in the famous West End of London, so it was decided to have dessert after the show. 

The performance to see the famous Calendar Girls starring Julia Hills, Arabella Weir, Helen Lederer, Kelly Brook, Rosalind Knight, Hannah Waterman and Janie Dee was great. Then it was back over the road to have dessert and a pre-night cap before another one back at the hotel!

June 2009 Sheffield VIP Event

The start of the two day VIP event really did start with a bang! Amazing show at Sheffield City Hall to see Chaka Khan (yes you heard it... The Chaka Khan), Lulu and Anastacia live in concert. All 3 of them sung their hearts out (and the audience did their very best in keeping up!) for 2 hours of pure entertainment. Then after the performance Josie and the gang of VIPs all went for some after show drinks. Unfortunately the memoirs have to stop there because 'what happened in Sheffield stays in Sheffield!!! Everyone had a brilliant time!
